Ansel Adams had ups and downs in his childhood. He was born in San Fransisco and wile living there he suffered an nose injury from the earthquake in 1906. The combination of been diagnosed as hyperactive and having a deformed nose made school very difficult for Ansel to fit in. he end up squeaking out a  “legitimizing diploma”  which is  technically a equivalent to passing the eighth grade. Struggling so much with school Ansel found himself very intrigued with nature, and took many hike in the dunes near his home. Music became a major interest to Ansel and he taught himself to play piano. He soon started to take lessons and it soon became his replacement for schooling. However all his piano skills where tossed away when he became to pick up photography. It was 1927 when Ansel came under the influence of Albert M. Bender, and created his first visualized photograph, monolith, the face of Half Dome. There was no holiday or vocations for Ansel Adams for he was all about his work. most of the time putting eighteen or more hours per day, for days and weeks on end. In his work he developed what is called the "zone system", which allowed photographers to produce a photograph that matched and expressed what they had visualized. I chose this specific photo from Ansel Adams because of the deepness in the textures between the mountain and the clouds. the like and dark contrast is beautiful view throughout the clouds and it gives a realistic depth  to the photo. The main reason is that i personal love mountains.

Panorama Examples

I choose this Panorama example because the the light and dark contrast and the rule of thirds drew my eye to the photo. Along with the violet color theme this photo portrays vibrant color that makes the boat stand out.
I choose this photo because the reflection of the water bring depth to the photo. I also liked the use of mountains as the background, they are even more beautiful with the use of the bright morning sun. It makes the picture more clear.

Favorite Face:

Hello, my name is Bill. you may not notice me but I am always right in front of you when your at the key board. I am a face on the front of the computer and even though I like to consider myself one of a kind, I am a face that is identical to thousands of others. I am part of a huge and fast growing family that I am always connected to through my many wires. Cousin Bob and aunt Jill are always near but we never seem to talk to one another.  I am very good at my job that I never really choice but was more or less created to do. My job is on and off  business and unpredictably fluctuates with the use of the volume button. But when work does come to me I always make sure I send a recessive the right sounds. What a lot of people don't know is that I have a hidden talent! I can talk and listen with my eyes! I frequently use this talent when students that are near me. They seem to always have the most interesting conversations. I dream of listen to the other sounds in the world outside the class room. But for now I sit here, waiting for for someone to plug in.
